Paul White Course DirectorPaul White
Course Director

Paul has taught or trained people in one way or another for most of his life and has a number of qualifications in general teaching and in TEFL. As well as teaching in a UK comprehensive school he has taught English (and other subjects) to students of all ages from 4 to 80 in India, Africa, and South East Asia.

He has worked as a teaching consultant for English in Malaysia, Vietnam and South America, and is heavily involved in the voluntary sector.

Paul oversees the running of TEFL Time and is responsible for the course material and content. As well as giving TEFL training, he also trains volunteers who are going out to teach in Third World countries. He travels extensively in his leisure time and never misses the opportunity to visit schools and language centres in order to ‘keep his hand in’.

Administration

After travelling round the world with a big back pack, Letty started work with Travellers Worldwide, TEFLTime’s sister company, coordinating and marketing volunteer projects and teaching projects overseas.

In 2007 Letty did the weekend TEFLTime course which inspired her to do the full time CELTA course and move to Tokyo to teach English as a foreign language for a private language school. “TEFLTime completely changed my life.

I met my husband in Japan and had my first baby!” Now living back in Brighton Letty deals with TEFL and volunteer enquiries. She says “TEFL is like a passport to free travel, and teaching English is the best way to get to know local people and their culture”.

A Volunteer Teaching abroad

We have 15 staff at our headquarters and also make use of qualified and experienced consultants and tutors to provide you with quality TEFL training. We also have representatives in over 18 countries worldwide.
